which has gotten him into numerous misadventures with
his surroundings. This is a transformation play with a twist.
Christmas in Montana This is a hilarious one-act play for young actors that takes a light-hearted look at political correctness. Expecting
to teach these country mice "the old school" ways of the
world, Miss Rugamyer soon finds that the students, have a
few things to teach her besides sibling rivalry. When Miss
Rugamyer rehearses carols with them for an upcoming
Christmas Holiday program, the students comically take
issue with the carols that she plans to use
performers spoke in American Sign Language,
while Hearing narrators performed the voices. This
went over very well and provided twice as many
participation opportunities.
The Selfish Giant This adventure tells the enchanting story of a group of city kids who discover a beautiful house and garden in
the middle of their cement and broken glass environment.
But they are chased off by the selfish giant, Gorgon, who
places a "No Trespassing" sign on the gate.
Everykid With roots in the morality play, EVERYMAN, this fun participatory play for children depicts the adventures of two contemporary
kids, Everygirl and Everyboy as they explore some of the
temptations of our American culture. The kids decide they
don't need each other and take off separately into the adult
worlds of Moneyland, Beautyland, Factland and Success City.
Eventually, they learn to work together, and to care about
and share each others resources.
Fall Back/Spring Ahead It is the Sunday morning when Daylight Saving Time starts or ends... This family does not
know which. Turn the clocks forward or back? Or, who is to
change them? And when exactly? “Fall Back, Spring Ahead”
tackles with Great hilarity, this “timely” event. (30 minutes)
