Bible Bits And Skits For Teens
ten short plays for Sunday School
By Michael J. Hotchkiss

About the Collection: These ten skits were written and used in Sunday School/Youth group meetings. Author Mike Hotchkiss says that people will often remember a point longer if they see it in action as well as hear the words. Each vignette conveys a Biblical message, and contains characters that can be played by boys or girls. Getting the kids on their feet in class and “acting out” the story provides meaningful, refreshing material to a teacher. Everyone likes to pretend! With each skit only three to four minutes, there’s lots of time to discuss. Discussion questions are included at the end of each play. Performances can be prepared, with lines memorized, or simply a “walk-around reading”.

from The Garden
Bush: “Where It All Began” was with the Lord. We must always remember that. We shrubs and other plants, and all creation were all made to glorify Him.
Tree: That is first and foremost.
Bush: Any gossip lately?
Tree: Some birds weren’t watching where they were going and crashed right into the cliff by the pond.
Bush: Anybody hurt?
Tree: They were a little stunned, but came out of it okay.
Bush: But, of course, the big news is about those people creatures that were walking around here.
Tree: Did you hear that story?! Can you believe it?!
Bush: What were their names? Something like Arnold and Elsie.
Tree: Alice and Ace.
Bush: Adam and Ethel…Adam and Eve…that’s it! Adam and Eve. Two losers.
